It has been a busy weekend at Cowlick Cottage. Just a few quick notes:
The fava bean and butternut squash seeds have popped up in the mini greenhouse. I planted seeds for Asian Red Lettuce, arugula, and five different types of tomato. We got two new no-dig beds set in. We trimmed back the Knockout Rose hedge. And we trimmed the guest cottage garden back. It’s a great time of year to get things cut back and ready for Spring!
Next weekend, we will plant lots more seeds and get the potatoes put in. And we will fertilize the lemon and lime trees, the figs, blueberries and strawberries.
